Monday, Jul 6th July Cooking CampJoin us for a whirl wind tour of the kitchen as we learn the ins and outs of preparing classic foods from around the world. Each day, we'll focus on a different cuisine -- Italian, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, and American -- and learn about the region and the foods and cooking techniques that make them special. This class in entirely hands-on and is designed for the budding chef in your life - each day's lesson will build on what is learned the day before. Every day we'll conclude with a lunch party to taste and review everything that we've made. Students will learn about choosing ingredients, menu planning, basic knife skills, and how to work cleanly and safely in the kitchen. This event runs from Monday to Friday the week of July 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost: $550 for the 5-day session.
